The Williams College Law Society was founded on January 2, 2010 by Dan Zhao and Emanuel McMiller on a Peter Pan Bus as they returned from New York City back to campus at the end of Winter Break. Their goal was to create an organization that brought students interested in law together, and provided a support system for them in terms of providing  an avenue to express their interest in law and involve themselves in related activities that may not be available to them prior to The Society.
