Jlandsma was the third incarnation of Jonathan Landsman's burning love for Willipedia, which previously took the shape of Plaidfury (Jonathan's bowling name). A change in login procedures in late February 2005 changed Jonathan's login to 05jl, under which he now writes.

Plaidfury was Jonathan's first Willipedia handle, but preceding even that was a void and formless, but no less ardent, youth, in which contributions were tracked by a mere IP address.

The affair began with an unglamorous iCal article.
