Architecture
The part of Hopkins Hall nearest to Spring Street was built in the late 1800s. The new part was added much later. The facade kind of matches on the outside, and the interior completely matches. According to an admissions tour guide, the architects were told to make it feel like a second home for students, and they ended up making the interior feel like a shopping mall.
