The Williams Record, an independent student newspaper, has been in operation since 1885. It is published on Wednesdays and distributed for free at campus locations and on Spring Street.
All students are welcome to join the paper. Writers' meetings are held on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 in the Record office (the old American Legion building) at the end of Spring Street. You can recognize it by the ugly neon doors. Writers are always needed for all sections -- News, Opinions, Features, Arts and Sports -- as well as photographers, cartoonists, you name it.
