A semi-professional symphony orchestra that typically performs four times a year in Chapin Hall. Ronald Feldman is the conductor, and is additionally responsible for choosing the group's fairly adventuresome repertoire. Competitive auditions are held once a year for students who wish to participate. However, there is something of a glass ceiling, as local professionals fill most of the principal desks.
The official drink of BSO parties is the Whisky Sour.
