SpeakFree

SpeakFree is the spoken word/performance poetry group on campus. We have showcases every semester; additionally, we've collaborated with groups like RASAN for Take Back the Night and opened for spoken word poet Andrea Gibson. Since its inception in 2007, we've voyaged to New York, brought poets such as Taylor Mali and the Nuyorican slam team to Williams, spat guerrilla poetry in Paresky, and generally unleashed our voices on the Purple Bubble.

We meet every Sunday 3-4pm at Jenness. Come join us: we spit, we don't bite.
