The table was removed because its data did not fulfill the promise of the title. The information comes from Form 990, yes, but those figures belong under a discussion of compensation and economics, not of paperwork. I feel it would have been more appropriate to write "For example, one type of information found on Form 990 is the President's annual salary." The table was an example of the data that is in a Form 990. This is perfectly consistent with the title. Indeed, the only reason why one would care about these forms is because of the data that they contain. It is fine if someone believes that this data belongs elsewhere. In that case, move it elsewhere, do not delete it. But I agree with the suggestion on the better way to phrase it.
