Compact Fluorescent Lightbulbs are new, energy efficient lightbulbs. They use only 15w but provide light equivalent to 60w.
CFL's save energy, reduce carbon dioxide emissions, and save money on electricity bills. They also produce less heat up less, so your reading lamp will not be hot to the touch.
[[Greensense ]] and the [[Thursday Night Group ]] have teamed up to exchange all student incandescent lightbulbs on campus to CFL's.
So far, approximately 950 lightbulbs have been exchanged from [[Mission]], the [[Frosh Quad]], and [[Dodd houseHouse]].
