Learn to handle little one-person, single-sail dyer dhows; two-person JY's (mainsail + jib); row a whaleboat; possibly sail the whaleboat--if you can get the mast up; ride in a catboat; learn to drive a motorboat...all in all, have some quality time on the Mystic River (or in the Mystic, if it is too windy to sail).
