Chapin Hall

Chapin Hall is the largest performance space of the music department and the perennial rehearsal/performance venue of Symphonic Winds, Berkshire Symphony Orchestra, Student Symphony, the Jazz Ensemble, and various other musical groups. The space has hosted speakers including Thomas Friedman, Jared Diamond, and others. It is frequently ascended on Mountain Day under WOC auspices, one of the few occasions when building may be scaled and roofed in daylight with official sanction.

Pink Floyd played here in 1970.
