The curling club was, by legend, the second club ever founded at Williams. It existed on and off throughout the 90s, and the latest attempt to recreate it was in Winter 2004, which met with moderate interest. Unfortunately, the nearest facilities are in Schenectady, so...until they build us a club, or a club somewhere around here, curling isn't that plausible as a Williams sport.

Nonetheless, "Williams" won the 2005 Northeastern College Curling Championships, a fact of which they are unaware, since "Team Williams" consisted of two boys from Boston College, an Olympic curler, and Katie Montgomery '07 as skip, who had got herself to the tournament via two cars of Cornell frat boys. It's a good story.
