Goodrich Hall is a Gothic revival, rustic limestone structure built in 1859 to serve as the College Chapel, Alumni Hall and classrom building... The Goodrich Hall is the only student operated building on campus. Students are responsible for managing and coordinating the use of the space.

Another good resource is the [http://www.williams.edu/dean/campus_life/goodrich/ Williams College Campus Life Student Activities Goodrich Hall information page] which has, among other resources, a menu for the Coffee Bar, a listing of hours, a form for scheduling activities at Goodrich, policies, and other useful information.
Goodrich Hall is a well-loved space with a variety of functions. Depending on when you visit it, you are likely to find students getting [[breakfast points]] at the coffee bar, hanging out, checking e-mail, or studying into the wee hours of the morning (or falling asleep in the comfy leather armchairs). Here students also get together for [[Contradance]]s, [[Gospel Choir]] concerts, [[Sankofa]] performances, [[First Fridays]], [[Cap and Bells]] productions, [[a cappella]] concerts, movie showings, open mic nights, and much more.
To get a sense of Goodrich's past see the history, see the excellent timeline on the [http://www.williams.edu/library/archives/buildinghistories/goodrich/history.html College Archives Building History page].
Goodrich was closed during the 2007-2008 school year for massive renovation after the floor was broken during the legendary [http://www.gunthernet.com/ Gunther] concert of Spring 2007.
