Important Announcement, 11/13/05

This wiki is getting too much spam, which no one likes cleaning up. For now, we're requiring log-ins to edit any pages. You can use your OIT account or your WSO account to log in.

If you don't like this policy, or even if you do, you're invited to apply to be on the soon-to-be-established Wiki board. The Wiki board will set policies for the Wiki, organize and edit articles, grant administrative privileges, and generally decide the direction of WSO/Wiki. This position requires no technical skill beyond being able to use a web site, and it shouldn't take up too much time. If you are interested in becoming a Wiki Big Shot, email
with a few sentences expressing your interest before Thanksgiving. In the email, you might mention any contributions you've made to the Wiki and any experience you have as an editor (broadly defined). Students and alumni are welcome to apply. If you have any questions about this position or its powers, just email
. --Emiller
