Changes

The magazine Golf Digest decided to focus on college golf for a portion of its August, 2005 issue. It ranked the top collegiate programs (regardless of division) in three categories: "Golf First," "Academics First," and "Balanced." Williams earned the [http://www.golfdigest.com/features/index.ssf?/features/gd200509collegegolf11.html/ 10th place spot] in the "Academics First" ranking, edging out 11th place Harvardand far ahead of 24th place Amherst. In addition to this recognition, the magazine chose to highlight the typical life of a golfer at a Division I, Division II, and Division III school. For Division III, they looked to Williams, and Coach Pohle quickly recommended they follow around Matt Slovitt for a day.
