The Paresky Center is the new student center to replace [[Baxter HallCategory:Building]]. It is expected to open in January 2007, after two years of construction. It will house many important [[:Category:Resources|resourcesDining]] and services that have been homeless while it was under construction.
==Opening==From a February 2, 2007 e-mail from Nancy Roseman, Dean of the College::Come 7 a.m. on [February] 16th the building is all ours. :The Paresky Center is the new student center, replacing [[Winter CarnivalBaxter Hall]] official opening event will take place Friday evening . It opened in front January 2007, after two years of the fireplace in Baxter Great Hallconstruction. It houses many important resources and services.
:[[Grab & Go]] will move to Paresky Feb. 19th, the new '82 Grill will open on the 26th, and student [[SU box|mailboxes]] will be activated at the end of Spring Break. Get excited. But don't go into the building, as it isn't approved for occupation yet. ==What it will look looks like==

Pizza toppings are abundant. ==Facilities==
:The largest Meeting Room (220) offers 20 chairs at a conference table. It is A/V equipped, has a blackboard, and has a wonderful view to the north and east (especially of [[Chapin Hall]] and of [[Baxter Lawn]]).
 
Although not included in Doug's email, it's worth noting that Paresky has fantastic water fountains that fill up water bottles in a jiffy.
