The Williams Men's Varsity Crew is one of the most consistent and dominant crews in New England. Often NESCAC championFrequently ECAC finalists, inevitably typically New England medalists, and more often than not Little Three championchampions. Graduating Captains for this past year 2010-2011 were Dan Kenefick, Jack Wadden, and frequently ECAC finalistJoey Kiernan. For the upcoming 2011-2012 season's Captains are Noah Schoenholtz '12 and Alex Treco '12.
== History , achievements, and traditions ==
*Competes in Head of the annual [[Schnellstiegen]] against the [[Nordic Ski Team]] and and [[Alpine Ski Team]].Charles Men's Collegiate 8 Champions (2008, 2009, 2011)
*Holders of the Onota Cup (varsity race between Marist, USCGA, Bates, Ithaca and Williams on Lake Onota) *Little Three champions for 2000-2006 and 2008-2012 and thus current holders of the [[Saratoga Oar]]. Being a year-long sport with a relatively short race calendar, Williams Crew is full of athletic traditions to punctuate the year. Some, though not all, are unique to the varsity men. Roughly in order, they are: *The [[Schnellstiegen]] against the [[Nordic Ski Team]] and and [[Alpine Ski Team]]. *The intra-squad "[[Run with the erg]]."

Set *Sweep at the [[Head of the Charles]] course record for Men's Club 8; it stands to this day (as Onota Lake Rowing Association.) Little Three champions for the past six years vs. Wesleyan and thus holders of the [[Saratoga Oar]]Amherst.
