I got a little farther, but not much.
I just tried it. It's very confusing. When you are composing an e-mail, there are four header lines: To, CC, Attachments, and Subject. To attach an attachment, you do Ctrl-J (Attach) and then Ctrl-T (To files) -- these are both listed in the commands at the bottom -- and it takes you to a list of existing files. I just tried this. All the files have unintelligible names, so I attached one to myself as a test and then looked at it using [[Email#IMP|IMP]]. It turned out to be the text of an e-mail I sent to my mom in freshman fall (!?!?).
