The Williams College Law Society was conceived and founded on a Peter Pan Bus from New York City to Williamstown on January 2, 2011 by the co-founders and current Co-Presidents Dan Zhao and Emanuel McMiller.
The Williams College Law Society is founded and exists for the purpose of providing the undergraduate students of Williams College an avenue to express their interest in law and involve themselves in related activities that may not be available to them prior to The Society. The Society seeks to promote a familiarity and understanding of the law and the legal profession among students. Members will have an opportunity to learn about the field of law and the career options it provides and understand the legal framework in which the world operates.
Our mission is to bring together students at Williams College who are interested in law and allow them to express their interest in a productive way that benefits them, the College, the Society, the community, and the field of law.
