The Williams Percussion Ensemble was created in 2004 and is directed by Matthew Gold. The inaugurating group of members consisted of students from the 2004 Winter Study class: Percussion for Non-Percussionists also taught by Matt Gold. The ensemble is now made of about fifteen students. They perform two concerts a year.
