As part of the CEF position, I am putting together a yearlong capstone project that relates to the work of the DC. For my project, I am looking to interview students on their experiences of safety at Williams in order to collect information on how Williams students' identities affect how they think of and experience safety. Currently, I am planning my project and working on what exactly these interviews will look like. I am reaching out to you because I am looking to begin the process of understanding how different identity groups approach issues of safety and I hope that in your role as co-chairs of The Society of Griffins, you can provide insight or point me to someone who you believe would be interested in talking to me. This project values individual contributions, and it is not designed to give anyone the burden of representing entire student groups or social identities; I just want to hear what you have to say.
