Hi All,

I just wanted to send a reminder that self-noms for the WCJA 2018-19 board
are due on *Friday, March 16. *For your self-nom, please send
tsa1 at williams.edu a short paragraph detailing why you hope to serve in
said position, any relevant experience that you may have, and goals for the
upcoming year. Please know that *there are no prerequisites or prior
qualifications necessary for positions on the board.*

*Elections for any contested positions will occur on April 4, at 9:00 PM in
the Jewish Religious Center (JRC).* That meeting, like all of our weekly
Wednesday board meetings, is open to all. If you would like to vote but
know you will be unable to make the meeting, please contact Tamar.

Self-nominations should be submitted *individually*. Should candidates wish
to run as a ticket, both should submit self-nominations, and make it clear
to Tamar that they hope to serve as a team (which is very encouraged!). In
the event that there are more than 2 nominations for a position, and a
co-directorship is desired by the candidates, the top 2 vote-getters will
assume the co-directorship. Successful candidates will assume their
positions beginning around Passover 2018 (April 4) through Passover 2019.
*However,* i*f you are currently abroad, or will be abroad for part of next
year, you are still (strongly) encouraged to apply and hold a position for
half of the year!* I will also accept self-nominations for new positions.

Please note that all board members are expected to be present at weekly
board meetings (1 hour/week). All board members are also expected to help
cook Shabbat dinner, in addition to other duties. Please note that hours
may vary from week to week according to the needs of individual board
members--these numbers are not set in stone.

*Here are the list of positions - Descriptions of each position can be
