The eyeballs on the lawn are really the exposed part of a multi headed monster that causes the lawn to be so hilly. The monster's true identity is a mystery to most students, but it is a member of the Williams faculty. The ever watchful eyes keep the monster informed of all things going on near Goodrich Hall, making the monster the holy demonic guardian of Goodrich. Yes, holy and demonic.
