Silliams College

Overview

Silliams College is a TAPSI that focuses on staying silly! Williams can be a very intense and stressful place, so the TAPSI creates a place students can laugh and destress. It celebrates comedy amongst students while promoting a positive mental health environment: notably, Silliams is substance-free housing. Silliams is open to all students who feel like they could use some silliness in their lives.

History

Silliams College was approved in 2023 and began in the 20224-2025 school year in Mark Hopkins House. Silliams was created by Izzy Weitzman and Madison Rozic after experiencing severe post-Frosh Revue despair and emptiness. Although the idea initially began as FRAPSI, it quickly evolved into a more wellness-centered space open to everyone that would give students the ability to play.
