WARP
,→Current Board
Early History
WARP was officially founded in 1989 by Chris Aylott '91 and Toby Elliott '92, but in some sense began in the fall of 1987 when Joe Cruz '91 (now Professor of Philosophy at the College) started an Advanced Dungeons & Dragons campaign, virtually all of whose members lived in Odd Quad, and whose viewings of Star Trek (the original series) and Twilight Zone in the Prospect House TV room would regularly attract an after-Driscoll-dinner audience of 12-20 students.

Organization
Traditionally WARP has two "real" officer positions: the Figurehead (president) and the Shadowy Grand Vizier (treasurer). Additionally, the Fili of the Bards (historian) nominally serves as the vice president, though this has not been of relevance in living memory. In practice, WARP has a long hierarchy of ever-fluctuating ceremonial titles, the most enduring of which is the Not-Pope.
Current Board
In the leadup to the election for the WARP board of 2025-2026, members Madison Rozic and Andy Huang debated the qualifications for enfranchisement, due to the telepresence of currently-abroad member Gautham Narendar through soon-to-be abroad member Andy Huang. Outgoing figurehead Austin Osborn upheld the status quo of enfranchising only members physically present at the time of election. The newly-created position of Anti-pope was briefly held by Seamus Connor before the stipulations of the WARP Constitution nullified their election. In the ensuing emergency election, a tie was declared between joint candidates Andy Huang and Gautham Narendar and independent candidate Em Salinas Romero. The candidacy of Gautham Narendar was subsequently nullified by the stipulations of the WARP constitution. The ensuing duel was decided by rock-paper-scissors-shoot, won by Andy Huang after ten rounds, who declared their intention to abdicate to their opponent on account of their soon-to-be abroadness.
In conclusion, the board was thus:
* Cassie Aretsky '26 (Figurehead/Anti-Not-Pope)
* Madison Rozic '27 (Shadowy Grand Vizier/Pope/Wizard of the Wizards)
* Alex Moon '27 (Fili of the Bards)
* Johnathan Li '28 (Quartermaster/Terraformer)
* Maddie N '26 (Figure Head/Chief of the Board of Directors)
* Em Salinas Romero '26 (Anti-Pope)
* Andy Huang '27 (Anti-Anti-Pope, former)
* Jenna Shuffelton '26 (Oracle)

WARP's Board for 2024-2025:
In the initial election, Maddie Nowbar and Cassie Aretsky were elected as the WARP Figureheads for the Fall and Spring Semesters respectively. According to NowbarMaddie, this election was a "landslide." Shortly after their election, Nowbar Maddie abicated the Figureheadipality. Notably, Nowbar Maddie abdicated without Aretsky's agreement. This will not be relevant later. Due to a quirk of the WARP constitution stating that the group can only hold one election per year, the future of the Figureheadipality was decided by a simultaneous Jumbling Tower and Bananagrams game between Austin OsborneOsborn and Michael Faulkner, which Osborne won. Osborne was then crowned as Figurehead.
The rest of the board, elected as normal, follows hence:
* Michael Faulkner '25 (Shadowy Grand Vizier)* Cassie Aretsky/'26 & Maddie Nowbar '26 (Fili Filis of the Bards)* Madison Rozic/'27 & Izzy Weitzman '27 "Two Swords" (QuartermasterQuartermasters)* Madison Rozic '27 (Pope)* Jenna Shuffelton '26 (Not-Pope)* Cassie Aretsky '26 (Anti-Not-Pope)* Maddie Nowbar '26 (Lee)* Elena Sore '27 (Leigh)
