The Keyserver client is the component that verifies you are connected to the Williams network to allow these applications to run. When you download software from the OIT software page you can run the applications as long as you are on campus.
Mac OS X Users
- Click here (you will be prompted for your unix login and password)
PC Users
- Click here (you will be prompted for your unix login and password)
- Once you download and install the keyserver, run it.
- At the Client Network Connection Window, the protocol should be TCP/IP, the name source should be Windows Logon, and in the Enter the Keyserver's name or address field, type: keyserver.williams.edu OR keyserver1.williams.edu
- Once the settings are correct, you will need to log in to the Keyserver once by clicking 'Logon.' You will get a message saying that you will be automatically logged on from now on.
- Close the window, and you're done.
