In its first active years on the Williams campus, Students of Caribbean Ancestry passed a number of important milestones. From creating a constitution , participating in the annual North East Regional Caribbean Students Conference, hosting its first ever Caribbean Heritage weekend (Spring, 1996) and a subsequent Caribbean week the following year.
SoCA has an office on the first floor of Rice House (Black Student Union). The group holds its weekly meetings in Rice House at 6:00pm on Tuesdays.
