The Contemporary Dance Ensemble, commonly referred to as CoDa, is the oldest dance company at Williams, and is the only one that performs modern and contemporary dance. This group was formerly known as Dance Company (DCo) until Spring 2010. Under the guidance of faculty members Erica Dankmeyer (Artistic Director) and Janine Parker (Assistant Director), CoDa dancers train year-round in both modern dance and ballet, and put on two major performances a year. The CoDa directors create original work for the ensemble each year, and continue the tradition of supporting student choreography.
