ERA was created in 2006 to:
-Involve students in policy-making in local schools
-Hold community- and campus-wide discussions on national education policy issues
-Research national policy issues and their implications for Williams and surrounding communities
-Steer Williams towards a better partnership with local schools
-Provide more extensive resources to Williams students wishing to pursue education-related careers including teaching
