-The Williams Record, an independent student newspaper, has been in operation since 1885. It is published on Wednesdays and distributed for free at campus locations and on Spring Street.

-All students are welcome to join the paper. Writers' meetings are held on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 in the Record office (the old American Legion building) at the end of Spring Street. You can recognize it by the ugly neon doors. Writers are always needed for all sections -- News, Opinions, Features, Arts and Sports -- as well as photographers, cartoonists, you name it.
