The Motto
The Dining Services motto is printed on all of the snack bars cups. Curiously, it is:
Advancing Toward A Sustainable Future
The 'plastic' utensils in the Snack Bar are 100% biodegradable. That's pretty advanced.
And the cups are made out of corn. They burn a most awesome shade of blue-green...
Specials
In addition to their regular combos, there's a different special almost every night of the week at the snack bar:
- Monday
- Tuesday
- Wednesday - South of the Border Chicken Sandwich (Grilled Chicken, Cheese, Guacamole...)
- Thursday - Cheese or pepperoni pizza
- Friday
- Saturday - Cheese or pepperoni pizza
- Sunday-
Delivery
During Winter Study and the first part of the Spring 2006 semester, Dining Services and the College Council sponsored a Snack Bar delivery service, but the service is on hiatus for the rest of the semester.
Fun Facts
The biodegradable utensils are malleable after about ten seconds of immersion in hot water. Let's see some ARTS projects, eh?!
