Smash Club
Purpose
Smash Club provides a space for students to meet others with similar interests in the Super Smash Bros. video game series, to practice and improve their skills, and to compete against one another. Smash Club also facilitates travel to external tournaments when possible.
Rules
Members are forbidden from throwing crabs at one another. Any disputes within Smash Club may be resolved through a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate match in which both players select random characters, a random stage (hazards on), and all items and spirits on. All other rules follow the standard competitive ruleset.
Dissolution Clause
The Smash Club executive committee must vote unanimously on dissolution. If this vote succeeds, the President will call an all-members meeting. At that time, if any of the members wish to continue the club, they may assume leadership positions pending normal election rules. If not, the club will be dissolved. To confirm dissolution, members enter an eight player Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game, all playing the character Peach, and pull turnips until a Mr. Saturn appears. They must then say “boing” to complete the dissolution proceedings.
