TRASH

TRASH (Testing Recall About Strange Happenings) is a College Bowl organization, with a format focusing entirely on popular culture (non-TRASH tournaments focusing on pop culture are called "trash" without capitalization). Since, unlike formats like CBI, NAQT, and ACF, TRASH is open to all competitors, it tends to be dominated by long-graduated, crusty players who have little better to do other than watch lots of television and play in quiz bowl tournaments.

Lemur Bowl, Williams's annual open tournament, is a trash tournament.
