[[Category:Athletics]]Nordic skiing, otherwise known as cross country skiing is a division one winter sport at Williams. The team is coached by Bud Fisher who has been coaching at here for 33 years. Skiers practice on campus in the fall by roller skiing, [[running ]] and weight lifting and ski at Prospect Mtn, Vt. in the winter. The team also gets to show off in the yearly [[Schnellstiegen]] race.

The nordic team consists of the women's team and the [[Gentlemen's Nordic Ski Club]]
The ski team (alpine and nordic) in 2006 clinched their upmt-teenth IM soccer title against the team known as Pink Ladies.
