Hazzan '''Robert ("Bob) " Scherr''' (March 20, 1955 — ) is the current Jewish Chaplain of Williams College. Hazzan Scherr came to arrived in Williamstown in 2004 from a congregation in Natick, Massachusetts, where he served for more than 25 years. He Outside of his Cantorial duties he is a regionally recognized bee keeper, a recreational cyclist and hunter, and brews his own beer and mead.
