Students for Social Justice is a group dedicated to envisioning and putting into practice a better implementing social justice at Williams, in the Berkshires, in America and in the world. We do this by raising awareness of relevant issues on campus through informationalevents such as film screenings and discussions with faculty, diplomacy and fundraising campaigns by taking more direct forms of action such as attending protests and events. Our organizing fundraisers, including the annual events include: Hunger Banquet, Alternative Gift Fair, Valentine's Day Fair trade Chocolate Sale. There is no set agenda for the issues The specific topics we choose address vary according to focus on in any given year. Rather, the focus interests and passions of the group .  Everyone and anyone is guided by the interests of the students who attend welcome at our meetings. In the past we have dealt with hunger, poverty, war, economic and trade justice on both Wednesdays at 7:30pm on the local and national levelssecond floor of Goodrich (ie.
