I'm glad to hear that other analysis is to follow. In that context, an analysis of Morty's salary may be more appropriate. I'd like to see all such analyses in sections -- not flowing right from the preface -- and any major digressions from the topic "Form 990" ought to be written up in a seperate article, perhaps.
I hope other editors will weigh in, as I am the original editor, and Kane the original writer, and neither of our votes opinions should carry the day.--Jonathan 00:18, 26 April 2006 (EDT) The table was removed because its data did not fulfill the promise of the title. The information comes from Form 990, yes, but those figures belong under a discussion of compensation and economics, not of paperwork. I feel it would have been more appropriate to write "For example, one type of information found on Form 990 is the President's annual salary." Originally, it was a segue into the President's annual salary trend - which is interesting, but misplaced. --06sdb 01:04, 26 April 2006 (EDT) The table was an example of the data that is in a Form 990. This is perfectly consistent with the title. Indeed, the only reason why one would care about these forms is because of the data that they contain. It is fine if someone believes that this data belongs elsewhere. In that case, move it elsewhere, do not delete it. But I agree with the suggestion on the better way to phrase it. I will revert and use that phrasing. --Dkane 20:57, 26 April 2006 (EDT) If you want to put the Williams College president's salary information on this page, then clearly this page is not merely for explaining to the clueless Williams student what, exactly, that "Form 990" she'd never heard of before is. Thus, I motion that this page be moved to something like "Recent data from Form 990" where it would theoretically say "Recent Data from Williams College's Form 990," but this is Willipedia and so "Williams College's" is redundant. --07djd 21:27, 26 April 2006 (EDT)
