Books
As one might expect of a college campus, Williams has lots of books.
Contents
Williams-Published
The Gulielmensian is the Williams yearbook.
Collections
Main Libraries
Sawyer Library holds the largest collection of books at Williams, and includes most non-science holdings (Division I and II).
Schow Science Library is the second-largest holding on campus, composed of resources for the sciences (including psychology).
Specialty Libraries
The Archives and Special Collections, or just "The Archives," located on the first floor of Stetson Hall, specializes in materials on Williams history.
The Chapin Library of Rare Books is the jewel in the Williams library crown, where the most valuable holdings at the college are stored.
The Math-Stats Library in Bronfman, officially the Dana Towne Library, holds math publications.
The Matt Cole Library in Kellogg House holds resources related to Environmental Studies.
The 1914 Library is a special library whose holdings are determined completely by its mission as a lender: 1914 holds and lends books that are used in courses at Williams.
These are not all; here's a list of more special-interest libraries.
Informal Collections
Books You're Welcome to Borrow is a list of books that students have and will lend to you.
