This is sort of a work-in-progress... basically, I thought about what sort of Williams-related knowledge I had to share and came up with this. I would love for other people to add things (obviously) -- more info about the trees already here, info about other trees you've climbed, personal stories relating to particular trees, and especially digital photos! at any rate... enjoy!

You may wish to check out the Flickr community about Memory Maps ([http://flickr.com/groups/memorymaps/]. If you decide it would be a good idea, you could, say, upload a map of Williams to Flickr, then use their notes-adding tool to have a bunch of rectangles in overlay over the map that you could annotate and that people could read upon hovering. There are javascript tools that would probably serve the same purpose, or you could use image maps to provide clickable hotspots on maps. I don't know how geeky you are, but it strikes me that those kinds of techniques would be good for this kind of application.
