I made this page because I need help satisfying my file sharing needs and was hoping # Go to the Finder.# Select Go -> Connect to Server... (or Command-K if you're a tech saavy person would read this:badass)So if someone has shared their awesome mp3 and movie collection on the network I used # If you want to easily be able connect to access it when i still had my PC by going to Run: \\nameofuser How do I do this on a Mac? From googlingfirecat, I figured out that I could go to the finder and connect to server and then type "smb://ipaddressofthepc/nameofuserfirecat". Click the + button if you want this address remembered.# Click Connect.but when i did that, it made me type # It'll ask for a username and password. Type GUEST for the user name, and leave the password blank.
