Changes

Symphonic Winds is a faculty-directed group with traditional band instruments at its core. It has grown to encompass strings, voices, electronic and acoustic keyboards, guitars, and percussion. [[Steven Bodner]] used to direct it. Its repetoire encompasses mainly 20th century [[music]], with the typical program containing pieces by students and by Dutch composer [[Louis Andriessen]]. The ensemble varies in size as the personnel rotates from piece to piece, varying from a chamber-sized group to a mass of sound covering the entire stage of [[Chapin Hall]].
