Talk:Co-Sponsorship fund
What are the criteria for getting money from the cosponsorship fund? Why is it called the "cosponsorship" fund?

It's called the "cosponsorship" fund because it's used when students want to throw a party (etc.) so they ask ACE for money to help out, so the student/group funds part of it and ACE funds part of it; hence the co-sponsorship.

There's also an article for the "Co-Sponsorship Fund" that's newer.
The Co-Sponsorship fund is a college council fund set up to support social events put on by groups other than All Campus Entertainment. The main criteria for funding is that the event be advertised and open to the whole campus. Other than that, the decision for how much to fund a certain event lies with the committee, which is chaired by the College Council Treasurer and is made up of members of College Council and the College Council Financial Committee (FinCom). Nonvoting members of the Co-Sponsorship Committee are the ACE President and CFO and each Cluster President. These represent a new, somewhat informal scheduling meeting for these social planning organizations. --Conor Quinn
