A good 1 1/2 hours away from Williams College, great for those traveling anywhere in the area you can get to by train, particularly New York. About half the price of the Amtrak Albany Train Station, but nearly double the driving time spent from Williamstown.

Getting to the Wassaic Train Station

Simple as heck.

Take Rt. 7 South.

Turn right on Rt. 43/Hancock Rd.

Turn left at Rt. 22 either by turning left at Provost, a sketchy one-way dirt road, or make an almost-u-turn at the light.

At some point you'll need to turn left again to stay on Rt. 22.

Stay on Rt. 22. You'll pass over I-90 and pass through a bunch of open-farmland and stuff. Don't worry, you are not lost.

Eventually you'll get to the train station. It will be on your left. Turn left at the light to enter.
